- Work Description:
- I am offering a JARVIS-themed scarf, in shades of electric blue, turquoise and teal. This evokes the electric-blue of the holograms which JARVIS controls, and electricity in general. It is a Mobius-loop scarf, as befits a mathematical construct such as JARVIS. The pattern is a mixture of horizontal and vertical stripes. The horizontal stripes spell out JARVIS in 8-bit ASCII binary coding, with the dark stripes representing "1" and the light stripes representing "0".

It is 28cm wide, and the folded-over loop is 72cm long (that is, if it were straight and unfolded, it would be 144cm long). Three different yarns were used:
1. Ice Yarns Universe Turquoise: 70% Polyamide, 19% Wool, 11% Acrylic; Medium weight. This is a two-tone yarn, the polyamide providing an electric-blue shine, and the wool providing a fuzzy teal halo.
2. Ice Yarns Firenze Angora Turquoise: 30% Angora, 70% Acrylic; Fine weight. The darkest yarn of the three, a lovely teal, and the angora provides warmth and fluffiness.
3. Ice Yarns Jazz Turquoise: 100% Viscose; Fine weight. Turquoise blue and very soft.
The two fine-weight yarns are held together and treated as one colour (see the AO3 post here).
